چکیده
Abstract Volatile terpenes are important compounds that influence fruit flavour and aroma of kiwifruit. Terpenes in plants also impact on the floral bouquet defence against pests pathogens leaves fruit. To better understand overlapping roles may fulfil plants, a systematic gene, chemical biochemical analysis terpene synthases (TPS) was undertaken Red5 kiwifruit ( Actinidia spp.). Analysis genome shows it contains only 22 TPS gene models, which fifteen encode full-length TPS. Thirteen can account for major volatiles produced different tissues response to stimuli. The small family displays surprisingly high functional redundancy with five producing linalool/nerolidol. Treatment methyl jasmonate enhanced expression subset defence-related genes stimulated release terpenes. Six were induced upon herbivory by economically insect pest Ctenopseustis obliquana (brown-headed leaf roller) emission, but not accumulation, E )- Z )-nerolidol strongly linked herbivory. Our results provide framework biological ecological other horticultural crops.

Constitutive and induced terpenoids are important defense compounds for many plants against potential herbivores and pathogens. In Norway spruce (Picea abies L. The cloning of (+)-3-car...

a contrastive study of rhetorical functions of citation in iranian and international elt scopus journals
writing an academic article requires the researchers to provide support for their works by learning how to cite the works of others. various studies regarding the analysis of citation in m.a theses have been done, while little work has been done on comparison of citations among elt scopus journal articles, and so the dearth of research in this area demands for further investigation into citatio...
Molecular Evolution of Trehalose-6-Phosphate Synthase (TPS) Gene Family in Populus, Arabidopsis and Rice
Trehalose-6-phosphate synthase (TPS) plays important roles in trehalose metabolism and signaling. Plant TPS proteins contain both a TPS and a trehalose-6-phosphate phosphatase (TPP) domain, which are coded by a multi-gene family. The plant TPS gene family has been divided into class I and class II. A previous study showed that the Populus, Arabidopsis, and rice genomes have seven class I and 27...
